Glasses

I'm not sure what to do to teach Sarah to take her glasses to school, everyday. I took them to her, several times, then didn't, to see if that would teach her. (didn't work) I had her put a note on the door to remind herself to grab them on Wed. Night. The note is right at her eye level, and the glasses are on top the cabinet right by the door. Well, it worked yesterday morning, but not this morning. I wasn't here when she left for school this morning she didn't remember them or her lunch. She's at lunch now, so she'll have to buy, there's money on her lunch account. But should I take her the glasses? I'm thinking no, what good is that in teaching her the resposibilty in remembering them. But I feel badly for her too.

What if you take her the glasses, every day she forgets them, but then she has to either pay you a certain amount per trip or else do a chore that you didn't have time to do since you were taking her the glasses. She's costing you time, so charge her time or the money to pay for the time.

Good idea Marlene!

Does she need them just for reading, or general seeing? Because I need them to see, so it didn't take me too long to remember to take my glasses. My sisters on the other hand needed them for reading, and they never took them. Their eyes got worse, and now they have to wear them for general seeing. karma ;)

She's near sighted, so am I, and I know how fuzzy everything looks with out my glasses/contacts. I want her to do well in school and be able to see the white boards. I think an extra chore, would work better than having to pay me, she just won't care to much, about seeing if she had to pay me to bring them. I'll try that next~
